Hi everyone. So my future sister-in-law's birthday is coming up on 3 Feb and we'll be going to Sizzler to celebrate. I really wish we were going anywhere but here while still learning self-control, but I don't have any say in the matter. My main areas of concern are the cheesy toast, the potato skins, the pasta, the bottomless soft drink, the bottomless desserts and other people in the party potentially ordering hot chips with their meal. Aargh so many traps! I'm still learning how to be friends with salad, so I'm rather nervous about going out. I'll just have to do as much damage control as possible, maybe get my boyfriend to help supervise me or something.
Anyone have any advice for me?
I just started a week ago (so far so good, the odd headache/bad breathe!) and we went to dinner at sizzler the other night.
1 - I ate 1 slice of the cheesy bread (naughty but I had only had 2 shakes that whole day plus lots of water) a spoon of the pasta and left the chips off my steak.
Ate lots of salad, drank water and diet pepsi and had a small serving of apple crumble.
Overall, I found it quite good - the salads were beautiful and I didn't feel full after.
