Hey Guys,

I have been on CS for 29 days now, and the closest i have gotten to a "slip up" was going to a wedding party and there being no non-carb options. i stuck to mini quiches and had a mini croissant also. My weight loss isn't what i hoped it would be, i started out at 109 and am down to 102.7, so have lost about 6.3kgs. is that normal? could i be doing something wrong?  i sometimes forget to have my snacks, but i am really not that hungry even when i do have them so i didn't think that was all that important. i try to always have my 2litres of  water a day also.

Should i be doing something extra to increase the weight loss?

Thanks guys,

Trista

6.3 kgs in 29 days!!!  Fabulous!!  Keep up the good work!  Well Done!!!!  From what I have read, the snacks are important to keep our metabolism up.  When we have big breaks between foos intake it slows down our metabolism.  However, you are doing great!  Be proud!

Thanks Guys!

I will keep on, i am stressing that i might not be doing something exactly right. i am really hoping to get under a 100 in the next couple of weeks! i will go back to snacking, and maybe have only decaf coffee from now on.

Thanks For the support!

trista the snacks and water definitely make a difference, so it's worth making the effort.

The beauty of CS is that it gives you so much freedom, it's hard to go wrong.

your weight loss is fantastic, so this program obviously suits you.

well done!

Hi Trista, a healthy weight loss is 500 gms to 1 kg a week so you are doing very well and are right on track. Keep up the great work!

Wow 6.3kgs! Your defintely doing something right!!!

Try to have some healthy snacks (just to keep your metabolism going) but water i think is really key.

Goodluck! You are doing great! :)

I remember reading that a very slow but steady weight loss will ensure the weight stays off. If your weight loss is too fast, it seems it is more likely to go back on. We all want to reach our 'target' as quickly as possible but we have to develop an eating style we can maintain for the rest of our lives. You are on track, don't rush it!

I agree with friendlyface. :)

You may have some good loses to start, but they will slow down. Don't get disheartened by it tho, I lost 21kgs in six months then over the next 6 only lost another 5kgs. & now I am really having to work super hard to make my weight go anywhere. But on the good side I know what I can eat & still enjoy life so I know I won't put it all back on. :)

Losing weight is one thing, but keeping it off I think is just as if not more important!

I have about 30kgs to go so am not quite 1/2 way but have lost over 100cms over my entire body so some weeks you will see shape change more that weight change. Make sure you measure yourself as well. :)

While losing weight fast is satisfying remember if you lose it slower you can tone as you go so you don't end up with any lose skin of flabby bits, EEWW!

Goodluck. :)

Kepp it up, you are doing amazing.  I have come to a plateau, although have been quite busy with alot of social functions since christmas.  I only have 3.5kg to lose but one week I lose 1kg and then the next put half it back on.  Think I may have to have another look at what I am eating and change my exercise routine.  :(

Hey Guys,

A big thankyou to everyone for the support! since i last posted, i have tried to maintain the snacks a bit more, and also have started cycling my bike to work, which i think will aid the weight loss.

Weigh in was today and i am 99.9, which is the most exciting thing ever, i am so happy, being under a 100 was that milestone i needed, and it came a week earlier than i anticipated!!!!

Good luck to everyone with their weightloss, and also just thought that i would share this link with you, it has a great recipe for carb free crackers which i have found to be super hand at snack time! i have made a vegetable dip to have with them, and its one of my fav snacks now.

Keep up the great work!
